Musk: Apple Is Obviously Making a Car

"It's pretty hard to hide something if you hire over a thousand engineers to practice it," Musk said, according to the BBC, adding that Apple'southward entry to the market "will aggrandize the industry." The entrepreneur also predicted that all cars in the hereafter will exist electric and democratic, and that people will merely drive as a hobby.

The new comments come up after Tesla last week released a software update for its Model S letting owners remotely "Summon" the motorcar in and out of their garage. Musk told the BBC that this is just a first pace. Within "a couple of years" Tesla owners may be able to summon the car across the country.

"Ultimately you'll exist able to summon the car from New York if you lot're living in LA, and it will bulldoze across the country, charge itself at the diverse locations and come to you," Musk reportedly said.
